TAG Heuer open its first UK flagship boutique at 449 Oxford Street, London. Just in time for Christmas, the store was formally opened with much fanfare by supermodel and TAG brand ambassador Bella Hadid.
Announced as an ambassador in February of this year, Hadid donned her eponymous TAG Heuer Link Lady Bella Hadid Limited Edition watch for the evening’s proceedings. Released to the public at the event – with pre-order customers invited to collect their purchases and meet its namesake – the Hadid Limited Edition is powered using a quartz movement and features a diamond-set bezel and hour markers, mother of pearl dial, date indication, and a black ceramic case and bracelet. Discussing her new watch at the opening Hadid extoled, “I really love my Link Lady Limited Edition, as diamonds go with everything! It is a very bold and versatile watch! And it’s really exciting to be here today with TAG Heuer, London is one of my favorite cities!”
Managing Director of TAG Heuer Europe, Rob Diver, went on to add, “We are honoured to have Bella Hadid open this flagship. She is a true fashion icon and inspires so many young people through her work, and truly embodies the TAG Heuer brand motto “Don’t Crack Under Pressure!”
Covering 75sqm of prime retail space, the new boutique is the first phase of TAG’s strategy for continued retail expansion in the United Kingdom. With plans afoot to expand the Oxford Street boutique to include a mezzanine-level showroom and the opening of additional franchise retailers throughout the country over the coming months, 2018 its shaping up to be an exciting year for TAG Heuer in the UK.
