Blue Period: Blue Dials Were Everywhere At BaselWorld 2013

We usually hate calling trends, especially at an event as heterogenous as BaselWorld, but we did feel like we saw an awful lot of blue dials this year.  Not that we’re complaining.  It’s a great change from the gamut of neutrals that usually dominate watch dials, and the extra splash of color gives a man (or woman) of style one extra element to play with or against.  While only an elaborate survey of every watch shown at BaselWorld 2013 would reveal whether or not blue dials really were a trend this year, they caught our eye wherever they popped up –which seemed like often.
