Omega ‘Moonwatch’ Speedmaster Professional Moonphase chronograph
I have always been a Speedmaster junkie. The Moonwatch has been my top favorite since I was a kid and learned that it was the astronaut’s watch.

Some Moonwatches have passed through my hands, but never a moonphase one, which for me is the quintessential Moonwatch. I mean, come on, a Moonwatch should have a moon!! This watch would definitely make me very happy on Christmas morning.

Bulgari Octo Ultranero
Achingly elegant and with a lot of class, the Bulgari Octo Ultranero watches are among the most attractive watches released in recent years.

As the name suggests (nero means “black” in Italian), the watch cases and dials are all-black. These watches come in four versions: the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Ultranero, the Octo Velocissimo Ultranero, and two versions for the Octo Solotempo Ultranero.

Their design shows the mark of a singular mind; an idea evolved without much regard for market tendencies, and I like that.

Laurent Ferrier Galet Traveller Globe Blue Night
This watch is a masterpiece of design and execution of ancient techniques; a mechanical wonder with exquisite finishings. The fact that it carries the name of its actual maker is very special.

It’s produced in a tiny workshop and the handmade feeling is exquisite. For the traveler in me, this would be perfect.

Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Skeleton Sapphire
Without any fancy complications, the Tank Louis Cartier Skeleton Sapphire is an example of how beautiful a little machine can be with fantastic handwork. I absolutely would love to see it with a big gift card with my name on it.
