Last week, Vianney Halter was in town to launch his new watch Deep Space. With this latest creation, Vianney has once again sealed his reputation as one of the geniuses in the watchmaking industry. Since we last met some five years ago, he is still the easy going, fun loving guy that he used to be and always a joy to talk to. The Hour Glass hosted a lunch for members of the press to meet the man and his new creation.
The Deep Space Tourbillon, inspired by the Star Trek “Deep Space Nine” series that he had been watching.
A triple axis central tourbillon.
Case is made of Titanium. Case size 46mm and 10mm thick. The peripheral curved shape hands tell the time.
The tourbillon is housed in a dome shape sapphire crystal.
