Girl Power: Announcing The First Women’s Watch Awards

Distaff website Eve’s Watch has announced what are believed to be the first-ever awards established exclusively for women’s timepieces. This acknowledges the industry’s efforts to recognise that female watch buyers have become far more discerning about watches than was previously the case. The inaugural Eve’s Watch Awards 2016 will take place on the evening of Thursday 20 October on the 24th floor of The Shard, in London.

Twelve award categories have been curated and shortlisted by Eve’s Watch, including Best Jewellery Watch, Best Fashion Watch, Best Design, Best Innovation, Best Unisex Watch, Buyers Choice, Brand of the Year, Watch of the Year and Woman of the Year. Judges were selected from the industry’s most knowledgeable and experienced female professionals, including retailers, buyers, distributors, collectors and watch writers, among them Revolution’s Editor-In-Chief, Tracey Llewellyn.

Adding more to the scale of the awards, Eve’s Watch ensured that the public has its say. In conjunction with Marie Claire, InStyle, woman&home, Livingetc, Country Life and a range of retailers, the Popular Choice Award is voted for by the public. Those who vote will be eligible to win £3,000 towards a luxury holiday of their choice.
