Share

If you find yourself in London town between 29 September to 5 October be sure to head over to Harrods, where you’ll be treated to a visual feast of the highest caliber.

Vacheron Constantin have brought over some phenomenal photographs for display that were recently birthed out of their collaboration with photographer Steve McCurry who helped the maison tell the story of their new Overseas collection.

The exhibition will take place in the fine watch room at Harrods, and will showcase shots from the 12 locations of Vacheron Constinatin’s Overseas Tour.  These little-known, almost inaccessible locations, are not your average summer holiday destinations and are therefore a real glimpse into parts of the world hardly ever seen .

Images include New York’s Grand Central Terminal — one of the world’s largest railway stations. The Vacheron manufacture in Geneva. And shots from both the Chand Baori Stepwell in India — the ancient stepwell located near a temple in Abhaneri — and the Leshan Giant Buddha in China, a 71metre-high colossus, hewn out of rock between 713 and 803 AD, to protect the people of region — and so the deity does, to this day, according to popular belief.
