During the same week as the SIHH, the GenevaTimeExhibition, the show for the independents brands,
was held in the centre of Geneva. Besides Hautlence, brands like Moser & Cie, Cabestan, Heritage and Speake-Marin were among the 34 exhibitors. The location was really cool and looked in fact, like an old former hydroelectric station.

Hautlence, founded in 2001, started in 2005 with the TV shaped HL series.
Eight models, were available in white-, yellow or pink gold cases and various dial possibilities.
Every model was produced in just 88 pieces but now, about 7 years later, the whole series is almost
sold out.
Two new models have been created recently and these will be the last HL series, that have the classic
TV shaped case

The followup model, The HL rs was presented last year, has a more sporty case and a more friendly
price. The watch is meant for a somewhat younger audience and has a strap construction that makes it
possible for the owner, to switch the strap, within seconds.

Many options are available from chic alligator- to a sporty rubber strap or even a combination of these
two materials.

Round cases have always been very popular amongst collectors, but are in general used for more
conventional time reading watches, while jumping hour systems, retrograde hands, or satellite discs are
often found in square and more rectangle cases.
Hautlence launched it’s more conventional HLq series in 2009 and is expanding this line constantly.
Very classy watch and new for this year is the pink gold version.

New and absolute sport is the HLRQ02 and HLRQ03 that will be available this Summer.
44mm Case, made from steel with or without a black and titanium DLC coating
and an In House developped and produced mechanical movement.
The HLRQ line is available as an unlimited series and still features the same degree
of excellence in its hand finished “Côte de Genève” and hand finished angled bridges.

Hautlence developed and produced its first own movement for the HL series in 2004.
The movement for the HLQ series is in fact, their second In-House-developed calibre.
This hand-wound mechanical movement, incorporates jumping hours, retrograde minutes and date.
