The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance presented by Rolex took place under brilliant blue skies on the Monterey peninsula last week. Staged on the scenic 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach Golf Links, the Concours saw a bumper entry of 200 premium collector cars. Rolex serves as the Official Timepiece of the Concours, and this marks the 19th year for that partnership. The coveted Best of Show award went to the 1924 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A owned by Jim Patterson of Louisville, Kentucky, shown above.
Rolex is also a partner of The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, both of which also take place during Monterey Classic Car Week. For the many thousands of visitors, 2015 will go down in history as the best yet. A big part of that success is the prospect of raising some $2 million for local charities, a figure that is nearly double that of past years.

The following images were taken during the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance presented by Rolex. This event is a parade open to all entrants in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The tour highlights the early history the Monterey peninsula, tracing parts of the original 17-Mile Drive. The Tour and the Concours are also directly linked. If two vehicles tie in class competition at the Concours, the vehicle that successfully completed the Tour gets the nod. Rolex has been the Tour’s title sponsor since 2007.
