Jaeger-LeCoultre launched a new personalised service today—the Jaeger-LeCoultre Care Program, which will offer eight years of International Limited Warranty on all of its watches. Improving client service has been on the agenda for many luxury brands of late but Jaeger-LeCoultre really set a new precedent with the longest warranty among major watch brands.

Clients who enrol in the Care Program will also be able to access a dedicated digital platform with value-added information, advice and other services. In-store, these services include maintenance or enhancement to clients’ timepieces, such as functional checks or engravings. Online, the maison will provide information and advice on specific timepieces in addition to pre-configured digital tools for personalisation and care.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Care Program Launches With an 8-Year Warranty

For Jaeger-LeCoultre to offer such an extended warranty period is a sign of confidence in the quality of its watches, and a much-welcomed move. Rolex, who is long known for its reliable products, had previously led the way with a five-year warranty. Omega joined the five-year club in November last year. Audemars Piguet offers a standard two-year warranty, with an option to extend to five years.

To find out how you can benefit from these services, customers can register their watches on the digital platform from 15th May 2019. And here’s some additional good news: timepieces still under the original warranty today will also be eligible for the extension.
