They are the craziest obstacle courses you have ever seen, and to finish one, much less win it, is a measure of toughness, grit and endurance.

Spartan is the world’s largest obstacle race brand, with over 200 events a year involving more than one million participants.

Luminox, known as one of the toughest watches on the planet, has now been named the official timing partner and the official watch of Spartan USA through 2020. To commemorate this, Luminox is introducing a new series of Official Spartan watches.

Spartan’s events through 2018 include the Stadium Series taking place in ballparks and stadiums across the United States, the Honor Series taking place at U.S. Army bases and military training grounds, the Spartan World Championship in North Lake Tahoe, CA, the Trifecta World Championship in Sparta, Greece, and 24-hour Ultra World Championship in Iceland. Luminox will be present on-site throughout marketing, time keeping, and VIP experiences.

Luminox will release the first of three official Spartan co-branded watches on September 15, 2018, before the Spartan World Championship in North Lake Tahoe, CA. Two additional co-branded watches, from the 1000 Series and the 0300 Series, will be released in October 2018. The official Spartan Race logo is featured on the case back and dial, and each timepiece will be presented to select top winners of the main Luminox and Spartan sponsored races.
