Last week, members of the press and a handful of prominent bloggers were invited to a preview of Omega’s latest collection over dinner. President of The Swatch Group (South East Asia), David Ponzo shared with us an overview of their newest watches. The highlight of the evening was the Speedmaster “Dark Side Of The Moon” which many of us were eagerly anticipating. The watch case was milled entirely out from a solid piece of ceramic. The watch had a distinctive feel to it, which was very different from previous Speedy Special editions. I personally felt that it was a beautifully executed piece and liked it very much indeed. Omega also released a re-issue of their Seamaster Bullhead from the 1960s. This is another very interesting piece to collect. I would like to thank the Omega team in Singapore for the opportunity to preview these lovely watches.
