Raymond Weil Celebrates Brit Awards 2015 With Two New Timepieces

What do Swiss luxury watchmaker Raymond Weil and the Brit Awards have in common? Besides bearing prestigious names in their own industries, they’re both centred on music. This year, Raymond Weil celebrates 10 years as the official watch partner of the annual Brit Awards 2015. The well-renowned music awards ceremony will be celebrating the best of British and international music at The O2 Arena, London on 25 February 2015.

In conjunction with the event, Raymond Weil has released two limited edition timepieces that nonetheless celebrate the best of the Brit Awards this year. Call it coincidence – the inspiration is derived from the brand’s ‘Freelancer’ series that is centred on celebrating excellence of artistic craftsmanship and design. Produced in numbers of 40 pieces for men and 20 ladies pieces, the watches will be presented exclusively to nominees, presenters and performers backstage at the show.

Raymond Weil’s musically-inspired collections are evident in its ‘Maestro’, ‘Parsifal’ and ‘Nabucco’ collections, which are all named after terms used in opera. Now part of the ‘Freelancer’ collection, the two watches in white gold are designed to be equally minimalistic with an automatic open balance wheel to watch, likewise when putting on a show.

A series of celebratory activities centred on the collaborated campaign will run throughout the nation in February, namely in cities London, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, and Liverpool. In partnership, Raymond Weil and Brit Awards organisers will retail a number of undisclosed pieces through key retailers and jewellers nationwide.
