Seiko and Djokovic Team Up for Charity

Seiko announced recently that Christie’s will auction Novak Djokovic‘s Seiko watch and signed tennis racquet, with all proceeds going to the Novak Djokovic Foundation.

The foundation gives preschool-aged children from impoverished areas in Serbia the chance to learn and play in a safe, creative and nurturing environment.

The racquet that joins his personal, limited edition Seiko watch at auction is the one with which he won the final in the Cincinnati Masters, a victory that made him the first man to claim all nine Masters events on the ATP Tour. Both will be auctioned off as part of Christie’s online watch sale taking place from September 6-20.

“I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to make a difference in my country – the Novak Djokovic Foundation’s mission is to improve quality and access to early childhood education in disadvantaged communities in Serbia,” said Djokovic. “The support of organizations like Christie’s helps make that possible.”
