The communication issued by The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) said that the response to the recently completed Annual Geneva watch fair has been overwhelmingly positive and it is another record fair “which for the first time ever is expected to post exports in excess of CHF 20 billion”.

This year’s SIHH held at the Palexpo between 20th to 24th January 2013 featured 16 of the most important haute horlogerie brands including the most prestigious maisons such as A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, Greubel Forsey, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis and others. This private invitation only event was also attended by more than 13,000 visitors from all five continents, This is an increase of 3% over last year’s figure.

The number disclosed includes luxury watch retailers, distributors and around 1,200 journalists from all over the world.
