Out of curiosity I went a-hunting to see if I could find any evidence of the horological preferences of one of the 20th century’s most famous writers.

Yes, the magisterially aloof author of Pnin, Pale Fire, Ada, and, of course, Lolita, is shown here wearing what is pretty unambiguously a DateJust. On a dark leather strap, it looks like.
