Have It Your Way — The New Bulgari Serpenti

Share

Snakes have long been symbols of strength, wisdom, rebirth, vitality and even eternity, and Bulgari, the Roman watch and jewelry company, has been making products with a serpent theme since the 1940s.

The first timepiece with a serpent theme was introduced around then, using a technique called Tubogas, inspired by an ancient Roman technique of making jewelry out of coiled twine.

Since then, the Serpenti has been one of the most popular of Bulgari’s styles. This year, Bulgari continues to develop the Serpenti with a twist, a customizable 27mm timepiece that features a new strap material, Karung, the skin of a non-venomous water snake, along with a quick-change system.

A new app is available from Bulgari, making customization a snap (over 300 combinations of case, dial and strap are available), and the customization can also be done on the Bulgari website and in Bulgari boutiques.

Here’s a quick look at the new Serpenti, featuring images exclusive to Revolution USA.
