SIHH is the time where Panerai collectors early await for the news of the latest Panerai watches.
The last few years have been very exciting for hard core collectors, with models like PAM00372 that is inspired from the vintage 6152/1, PAM00382 in bronze material that started the craze for bronze watches and the PAM00399 which is inspired from the vintage 6152 (without crown guard).
This year is less exciting, in my opinion. Not surprising as Panerai has been exceeding the expectations of collectors for the last few years, and its hard to maintain such expectations.

Looking at the releases for SIHH 2013, I would call this the Year of the Submersibles as my favourite are the 3 beautiful 47mm Submersibles announced in SIHH2013. All these models are one-time special editions.

PAM00364 47mm Submersible in Titanium case. Limited to 500 pieces (above)

Below, PAM00507 47mm Submersible in Bronze case with Power Reserve. Limited to 1000 pieces. This is a follow-up after the huge success of the PAM00382 :

PAM00508 47mm Submersible in Ceramic case with vintage luminova. Limited to 1000 pieces. This has to be the most stunning watch in the SIHH2013. The combo of ceramic and vintage lume is just perfect :

I am sure the demand well exceeds the supply, especially for PAM00507 and PAM00508, Look forward to the actual releases of these submersibles.
